Mona is happy to stay home from school and spend time with Aunt Anita, but she's worried about her friend Justin. Justin is out on a hunting trip with some of his family members. See how Mona and Justin both prepare for the blizzard and help their community members after the storm.
Heather Main is an elementary teacher who grew up in Arviat, Nunavut and has travelled to many Nunavut communities through work in the territory. Her favourite part of teaching is reading aloud to children. She now lives in Toronto with her husband and son.
Emma Pedersen is a Toronto-based illustrator specializing in children's books and character design. She graduated OCADU from the drawing and painting program, as well as from Sheridan College with a degree in illustration. Aside from creating, Emma enjoys hunting through used book shops, spending time with friends and family, and planning her next trip abroad.
