The Bright Side of Blue - the Journey addresses the process of recovering from some of life’s most challenging events. Author Becky Drace includes the personal stories of 11 individuals and how they were able to navigate through the dark blue episodes of life. She concludes the book with a Biblical example. Hannah, the mother of Samuel, reveals a complete picture of the dark blueness of depression and how to spiral back into the freshness of a brighter life. The Bright Side of Blue - the Journey uses Biblical principles as a means to offer hope and to encourage an active faith in Jesus Christ. Hope and faith are basic to life. The Bright Side of Blue - the Journey offers both.

Becky Drace graduated magna cum laude from Union University with a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work. She has been the office manager of the Jerry Drace Evangelistic Association since 1975. A cancer survivor since 2021, she created a support group for people dealing with the fear and anxiety of a cancer diagnosis. Having experienced several life events that caused a plunge into the blueness of despondency, she speaks clearly to the process of how to return to a brighter blue place.  Becky is the author of Becoming a Woman of Worth and coauthor of the Hope for the Home Study Bible. Her devotional, Becky: The Bright Side of Blue, can be seen daily on Facebook. She and her husband, Jerry, can be heard daily and weekly on American Family Radio, offering hope and spiritual guidance to families. She is a national and international speaker on the topic of family life. Becky resides in Humboldt, Tennessee.
