'The last one is a sleep button. Good night, children. More confirmation that children’s book creators are unsung geniuses.' New York Times
'Bouncy and mischievous' Guardian, Children's Books of the Year
Here’s a button. I wonder what happens when you press it? From a singing button to a tickle button, from a rude sound button to a mysterious white button, there’s only one way to find out what they do! A remarkable adventure powered purely by imagination, where the sounds, songs and play are completely up to you and whoever you're sharing this wonderful book with. Reminiscent of picture book legend Hervé Tullet's Press Here, this chunky board book will take you on a magical journey of colour, imagination, and play with a wind-down bedtime ending (unless you’re asked to read it again).
Sally Nicholls grew up in Stockton-on-Tees, and after school, travelled the world, working for a period at a Red Cross hospital in Japan. Sally's first novel, Ways to Live Forever, won the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and she has been shortlisted for the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, the Costa Children's Book Award, the YA Book Prize and the Carnegie Medal, twice. She lives in Liverpool with her husband and two sons.
