Ammar, Hanna and Mel are excited to have a picnic – until it starts to rain! What will they do?

Clare is a former primary school teacher, turned children's writer. She is delighted her books mean she can continue to inspire children to love language, themselves and the world around them. Inspired by her time as a mental health champion, Clare founded Books That Help, to gather picture books touching on a range of issues that help when the words are hard to find. When Clare isn't fulfilling her dream of writing for children, she is helping aspiring writers do the same. Asma Enayeh is a passionate children’s books illustrator. She is a daydreamer who is inspired by the colours and patterns around her. Her art is a celebration of humanity, cultures, and diversity. She has loved observing new cultures in the 23 countries she has visited so far. Asma’s family, especially her two daughters, are her biggest source of pride and joy. She first started illustrating books for them, and has since expanded her work for the world to hopefully enjoy and be inspired by.
