Kevin Brazier has long been intrigued by bravery awards and their recipients. His first book on the Victoria Cross was published in 2010. He has since completed works on the George Cross, the Blue Max (Pour le Merite) and most recently the Knight's Cross, in each case listing all the recipients and their burial locations. He has given talks on his work at the National Army Museum, and for the Metropolitan and Hertfordshire Police and the Royal British Legion. For this latest publication, a four-volume set on the Medal of Honor, he has travelled throughout the USA to photograph many of the recipients' final resting places. He lives in London.
