When Daniel and his sister Beatrice spend their summer with Dr. Ernest Drake, they find themselves propelled into the world of dragonology - the science and protection of dragon-kind. Soon the siblings are caught up in a race to find the Dragon's Eye, a jewel that has the power to reveal the identity of the true Dragon Master. But evil dragonologist Ignatius Crook will stop at nothing to claim it for himself. The first in four fire-breathing novels that are packed with dragons, magic and action-adventure.
Dugald Steer was born in 1965 and grew up in Surrey, where his love of books led him to study English Literature and Philosophy at Bristol. Several jobs later Dugald began working at Templar Publishing, where he advanced to Senior Editor, writing and editing many books in house. He has written more than 100 books for Templar, including 11 titles in their hugely successful Ology series. Dugald lives near Barcelona in Spain with his wife Ana and his two children.
