Drew Daniels, aka the Fantastic Freewheeler, is enjoying a peaceful afternoon in the park when property tycoon Natalie Main suddenly bursts onto the scene! She declares that the beloved outdoor space will be bulldozed to make way for a ginormous shopping mall that never closes. Can Freewheeler use his info-absorbing superpowers to look deep into the past to discover the answer to stopping the demolition plot, before it’s too late? Find out in this exciting Fantastic Freewheeler graphic novel, featuring a courageous hero who uses a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy, as well as action full of humour and heart.
Like the Fantastic Freewheeler, Molly Felder has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. She received her BA and MA in writing from NYU Gallatin. Her debut picture book, Henry the Boy, is based on the years she spent walking with crutches and is published by Penny Candy Books. The Fantastic Freewheeler books are her first graphic novels. She has taught English to kids in China online and loves having her service dog, Patterson, by her side. If she could pick a superpower, it would be to hear what he’s thinking.
