Enter the Stillness, a vast, furious land that is home to thousands of Comms, settlements large and small where people gather for safety in a dangerous and unpredictable world.
Each member contributes according to the dictates of their use-caste, and all with one goal: to prepare for the next Fifth Season, those cataclysmic events when Father Earth himself rages against humankind. It is only through the wisdom of the ancient Stone Lore that the people of the Stillness stand a chance of survival. The game gives players a chance to portray the folk of the Stillness, working together to deal with the problems that face their Comm to better prepare for the coming of the next Fifth Season.
Players build a Comm together, create characters of that Comm, and face the challenges that the Stillness has to offer. The Fifth Season RPG is powered by a customized version of Green Ronin’s popular Adventure Game Engine (AGE), the same rules system as The Expanse, Modern AGE, Blue Rose, and Fantasy AGE RPGs.
