Taking you through the year day by day, The Glasgow Book of Days contains a quirky, eccentric, amusing or important event or fact from different periods of history, many of which had a major impact on the religious and political history of Scotland as a whole. Ideal for dipping into, this addictive little book will keep you entertained and informed. Featuring hundreds of snippets of information gleaned from the vaults of Glasgow’s archives, it will delight residents and visitors alike.

Norman Ferguson has been interested in aircraft for all his life. He was born into a family of planespotters: during World War Two one grandfather was an anti-aircraft gunner, the other an ARP warden during the Blitz. His father was an intercept radar operator in the RAF. He was in the Air Training Corps and reached the heady heights of becoming champion in Aircraft Recognition in 1982 (Scottish and Northern Ireland area). He has been able to draw on much of his knowledge gained over the years to find the interesting stories that will appeal to readers.
