**PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED AS THE HEART KEEPER**

She has her heart. I want it back.

When Alison lost her daughter in a tragic accident, her world broke apart. But the world around her carried on – and Amalie’s organs gave new life to sick children.

Now, as Alison descends into grief, she becomes obsessed with a phenomenon her son tells her about – cell memory, where an organ recipient takes on the mannerisms of their donor. A vegetarian develops a taste for meat. An experienced pilot acquires a fear of heights. A little girl – with a brand new heart – swears she has another Mummy.

And so Alison decides, if she can find this little girl who carries her daughter's heart, she’d have a piece of her daughter again… and she’d do anything to have her daughter back.

Wouldn’t you?

A chilling thriller from the author of Playdate and The Boy at the Door, perfect for fans of TM Logan, Claire Douglas and Adele Parks.

**Don't miss the latest glam-noir thriller from Alex Dahl, GIRL FRIENDS – a dark and simmering mystery set on a girls trip to Ibiza.**

'Turns the raw power of maternal feeling into a gripping plot... The author keeps the reader on tenterhooks with a deft balance of nail-biting tension and pure sympathy for her twisted heroine' SUNDAY TIMES CRIME CLUB

'Intriguing and believable... At once a compelling thriller and a beautiful meditation on grief' JANE SHEMILT

'This had me gripped to the last lines' STELLA DUFFY
