The Hermit of Far End is a captivating tale set in the English countryside, filled with themes of isolation, secrets, and redemption.

Sara lived with her uncle after her mother’s death, and when he died, the place she knew as home went to the next of kin, her uncle’s cousin.

But Geoffrey, his wife Elisabeth and their son Tim come into Sara’s life and change everything. Sara is fascinated by the exquisite Elisabeth, pleased by Geoffrey and his likeness to her Uncle Patrick and finds a friend in Tim. But wanting to start her own life independent from them, she goes to Monkshaven as a paying guest and assistant to the local doctor and his family. There she meets the Hermit of Far End, a curious man who is a misogynist and takes a quick aversion to Sara. But their paths keep crossing and Sara finds that despite his gruff exterior, there’s a good man inside.

His past catches up however, and accusations, WWI, pride and a scheming woman get in the way of their happiness. Will the truth ever come out and will they find happiness?
