It's easy to dismiss the Holy Ghost People. They travel door-to-door in white sheets spouting pseudoscience about time travel, wormholes, and a new galactic gospel. Most of the town has already laughed them away. But when the Holy Ghost People start to perform "miracles," denial becomes difficult, and conversation quickly shifts to what ought to be done.

Joshua Young is the author Little Galaxies (Variant2023), and six collections. His writing has appeared in Gulf Coast, Adroit, Puerto del Sol, Court Green, Fugue, Salt Hill, The Shore, StoryScape, Bat City Review, cream city review, Nightblock, Vinyl, among others. He is the art director for Mt. St Helens Vietnam Band and his hybrid documentary, A Carnage in the Lovetrees, is currently in post-production.

His feature films have been Official Selection at Seattle International Film Festival, Athens International Film Festival, Montreal International Black Film Festival, Toronto Independent Film Festival, among others.

In 2017, he was awarded a grant from the Reva and David Logan Arts Foundation for his multimedia, cross-genre work.

He lives in Everett, Washington with his partner, and his son, Elliot.
