This study deals with one of the most turbulent years of Central European history: 1938. Attila Simon is a Hungarian historian living in Slovakia. He serves as the Director of the Department of History in the Forum Minority Research Institute and as Head of the Department of History at theA Selye Janos University. His primary area of research is Czechoslovakia between the two World Wars.
