Claude Boli met Cantona at the very beginning of his playing career in France, when he was a teammate to Boli’s brothers. Dr Claude Boli is currently scientific director of the National Museum of Sport based in Nice, France. He is the author of several articles, books and films on football, including: Manchester United: L’invention d’un club (Foreword by Eric Cantona) published by La Martinière, 2004; Football et Immigration, Gallimard, 2010. Author with Eric Cantona of the documentary film Foot et Immigration: 100 ans d’histoire commune. He has directed several international exhibitions on football.
