She was among the first women to be ordained priest in the Church of England in 1994, and is now a member of the Quakers. She has written drama and reflective programmes for the BBC World Service and Radio 4, and broadcasts regularly on Radio 2's 'Pause for Thought' and 'Good Morning Sunday'
