THE INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
TIME MAGAZINE'S TOP 10 BEST CHILDREN'S BOOK OF THE YEAR

"Saturated with Klassen’s characteristic wry humour"
Guardian
"Hilariously dark ... delicately deadpan." New York Times
"Distinct and absurdist." Observer
"A deadpan gem ... visual wizardry." The Bookseller
"Absolutely brilliant." BookTrust

Turtle really likes standing in his favourite spot. He likes it so much that he asks his friend Armadillo to come over and stand in it, too. But now that Armadillo is standing in that spot, he has a bad feeling about it...

A uniquely brilliant meditation on the workings of friendship, fate, shared futuristic visions, and that funny feeling you get when there's something off ... but you just can't put your finger on it. Told in five parts and full of the dry humour and thrilling visual suspense Jon Klassen is known for, this original comedy is one for all the ages.
