"The Stolen French Barrow is not just a story of an object but a poignant narrative of love's resilience, the scars of war, and the power of memory that binds families together. It's a testament to the things we hold dear, the stories they tell, and the lengths we go to preserve them." Stefan Proudfoot, Spiffing Publishing

The Stolen French Barrow is a remarkable story of a barrow that survived two World Wars, several manses and was eventually stolen. After five years the barrow was found and is still alive today and adorns Netherholm in Dumfries.
