About Bobby Parrish | Dessi Parrish
Bobby Parrish is a passionate home cook who learned to cook the best way he knew how: his mom’s kitchen. He auditioned to be on Food Network Star and when they rejected his application, Bobby decided to start a YouTube channel instead. Four years and hundreds of thousands of fans later, Bobby's hard work and love for food paid off, and it seems the Food Network may have made a mistake! Dessi Parrish started filming online cooking videos for the sole purpose of proving that healthy food can taste good and that home cooks are just as talented as trained professionals. After filming for a few years with her husband Bobby, Dessi quit her job in corporate America, and turned their two-bedroom Chicago condo into a production studio involving all things food. Dessi not only curates some of the dessert recipes we see on camera, but she also does all the photography, filming, editing, and website design for FlavCity.
