"Why me? Mikey thought to himself. Why was he having these strange dreams?"

After spending months suffering from bizarre nightmares about whimstricks, grubblings and other strange creatures, ten-year-old Mikey has finally had enough.

But finding out the truth is more dangerous than Mikey could possibly have imagined, and he soon finds himself trapped in the magical realm of Whimsburrow. Desperate to get back home, while trying to avoid the Thorne King and the phantoms of Demerium, he discovers secrets that should never be revealed.

Once you've entered Whimsburrow, there's no going back...
ESJ Tasker is from a little valley in South Wales, and is a mother to two young boys, who make her laugh every day, and are her biggest inspiration. ESJ Tasker grew up fascinated with the movie Labyrinth, as well as Tim Burton and anything quirky. She was also obsessed with Harry Potter as well as Disney movies. Now, as an adult, she enjoys horror, but still holds that soft spot for milder creepy things. She believes all children like to have some sort of thrill in life, and diving into a book with excitement can advance their imagination, especially when they don't want to put the book down!
