The story starts in April 1958 when eleven-year-old Ted Brack left Hampden in tears after Hibs had lost the Scottish Cup Final. Between that day and watching Hibs win the CIS Cup nearly fifty years later, Ted Brack has been to over 1,000 games and has dedicated a major part of his life to the club. During that time he got to know many of the club's legendary players, its officials and supporters and was a regular contributor to the Hibs fanzine. Ted Brack has lived most of his life in Edinburgh. He retired in 2007 after serving as a head teacher for thirty years and has written many freelance articles for Hibs fanzines and other publications. Married with four children and three grandchildren, Ted's greatest wish is to see Hibs finally win the Scottish Cup for the first time since 1902.
