A science-backed roadmap that turns your biggest dreams into daily, achievable actions

‘A rare self-help book that’s actually informed by evidence. A host of perceptive, practical tips for getting out of your own way and making progress toward your career goals’
Adam Grant, bestselling author of Think Again and Originals

‘A practical and accessible guide to using behavioural science in your career’
Caroline Criado Perez, author of Invisible Women

What are you doing today to make your dream future come true?

The best behavioural science can change how we act and think in all kinds of situations. But have you ever thought to use it to get ahead in your career? Dr Grace Lordan is a leading behavioural scientist who translates cutting-edge research into practical steps that help you make smarter decisions, build better habits and move toward the future you want.

Whether you want to change careers, earn a promotion, start a business or finally commit to a creative project, Think Big provides a clear, actionable path from dreaming to doing. You’ll learn how to:

Overcome fear of failure and seize opportunities

Design an environment that supports deep work and smart time use

Rewrite limiting self-narratives and quiet imposter syndrome

Recognise and counteract other people’s biases before they hold you back

Think Big provides a practical framework to keep you moving towards any goal. It helps you get out of your own way, build momentum, and transform from dreamer to doer.

Dr Grace Lordan is the Founding Director of The Inclusion Initiative (TII), Director of the MSc in Behavioural Science and an Associate Professor in Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science. An economist by background, her research is focused on understanding why some individuals succeed in life and others don't. She is an expert on the effects of unconscious bias, discrimination and technology changes. Grace is an expert advisor to the UK government sitting on their skills and productivity board. Her academic writings have been published in top international journals in economics and the broader social sciences. This is her first book.
