He is also an adjunct professor in the Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering department, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. He received his Ph.D. in computer engineering from Southern Methodist University and his M.S. and B.S. in computer engineering from Ege University, Izmir, Turkey.
