Gwee Li Sui is a poet, a graphic artist, and a literary critic who holds a doctorate in eighteenth-century literature from Queen Mary, University of London. He has published a graphic novel Myth of the Stone and six collections of verse to date: Who Wants to Buy a Book of Poems? , One Thousand and One Nights, Who Wants to Buy an Expanded Edition of a Book of Poems?, The Other Merlion and Friends, Haikuku and This Floating World. He is also the editor of Telltale: Eleven Stories, Man/Born/Free: Writings on the Human Spirit from Singapore, and Singathology: 50 New Works by Celebrated Singaporean Writers, among others. His has translated Antoine de Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince in Singlish, as The Leeter Tunku.
