Collected together for the first time are four works by young British playwright Thomas Eccleshare, whose plays have been performed to national and international acclaim over the past decade.

Plays One includes Pastoral (winner of the Verity Bargate Award, 2011), I'm Not Here Right Now, Heather, and Instructions for Correct Assembly.

Exploring themes including parenthood, the power of stories, and the meaning of truth in the modern world, this collection presents one of the bright new writing talents in UK theatre.

In 2011 Thomas won the Verity Bargate Award with his critically acclaimed play Pastoral. From there he went on to become Soho’s Pearson Playwright in Residence in 2012, through which he wrote A Movement which won the Catherine Johnson Award in 2013. Currently he has two original sitcoms, END TO END and BE THE YES, in development with Objective Fiction, and a drama series SCHTUM (with Tom Joseph) commissioned by Channel 4. Last year his award-winning play Heather toured the UK before a sell out run at the Bush Theatre. His play Instructions For Correct Assembly opened downstairs at the Royal Court in 2018. He is founder and co-artistic director of visual theatre company Dancing Brick with whom he has toured nationally and internationally.
