It's autumn, it's blowing a gale and a stranger has appeared in the village who's rumoured to be looking at locations for a blockbuster film. Maeve Friel grew up in a house full of books in Derry, Northern Ireland, and now lives in a small village in Spain. She began her writing career with short stories for adults, before turning her hand to children's books, including the Witch in Training series.
