Craig Tregurtha is the former Group Managing Editor of The Times and Sunday Times, a post he held for 10 years up to 2023. Craig, who spent much of his career as a senior sports editor, also edited The Times regularly and was a journalist for more than 30 years. As a journalist, Craig was lucky enough to attend the 2008 Ryder Cup at Valhalla, numerous Open Championships and has played in the Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns on two occasions – failing to make the cut each time! A lifelong golf enthusiast, Craig now lives on the Isle of Man and is the Director of Communications for the Isle of Man Government. He plays off a handicap of seven and is a member of the beautiful Ramsey Golf Club on the north of the island. For Craig it has been a real thrill to bring together some of the finest writing from The Times alongside a celebration of the courses, architects and championships that have shaped the sport he enjoys so much. Prestigious reference books covering a range of interests and hobbies.
