Author Cassandra Reeder launched her blog, The Geeky Chef, in 2008, turning fictional food and drinks from a vast array of fandoms into reality with simple and fun recipes. In 2023, she released The Video Game Chef, a nostalgia-filled culinary adventure featuring iconic foods from video games. In 2024, she co-authored Lyrics and Libations: The Ultimate 90s Cocktail Playlist, a spirited tribute to the sweet music of the '90s. When not conjuring up recipes inspired by fiction and pop culture, Cassandra can be found perusing the food carts in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two tiny agents of chaos.
