Ex-boxer Jack Lisbon doesn’t mind a game of pool. But he prefers it without murder.
When a high-profile pool hall owner is discovered brutally murdered in his own home, Detective Jack Lisbon and his partner Claudia Taylor are thrust into a high-stakes investigation.
With pressure mounting from the assistant commissioner of police and a meeting of world leaders looming, the investigation takes a shocking turn—is the killer linked to a terrorist organization? But as Jack, Claudia and Yorkville’s Criminal Investigation Branch dig deeper, they begin to question whether the murder is tied to national security at all.
With suspects piling up, can Jack navigate a treacherous web of secrets and solve the case before disaster strikes?
If he keeps digging, he might be buried like a ball in a pocket. Only six feet under…
