Trompeta: Chappottín, Chocolate, and the Afro-Cuban Trumpet Style provides a comprehensive history of mainstream Cuban music, examining the music of all its eras from the perspective of two seminal trumpet players: Félix Chappottín and Alfredo "Chocolate" Armenteros.
