Trumpington today is a prosperous village. Though it has been part of Cambridge since 1912, it still retains a village feel and its own identity. This book compares old and new images of the village, illustrating the many changes which have taken place over the years.
Shirley Brown was born and brought up in Leeds, but has lived in Trumpington since 1974. She is active in several village groups, including the Trumpington Local History Group. She regularly gives talks on village history and writes articles and columns for several local magazines. Her other published works are Trumpington in Old Picture Postcards and Twentieth Century Trumpington.
