Fold and fly the record-setting paper airplanes created by Japan's leading designer!

This book features the longest-flying paper airplane in the world—the Zero Fighter created by Takuo Toda, who is a living legend in Japan. It also includes 19 other high-performance paper planes that are easy to fold and stay aloft for an incredibly long time!

Everything you need to fold record-setting airplanes is included in the book, from step-by-step visual folding instructions to creatively designed papers and even helpful flying tips.

The 32 tear-out papers are creatively designed to fold into 20 unique airplanes! They include:
  • The rock solid "belly button" Wing Ace that requires just 9 simple steps to fold!
  • The whimsical Flying Heart—the perfect way to send an airmail note to a loved one
  • The unique rectangular Four-Sider, whose performance defies expectations
  • The expertly crafted Sky King, the previous ultra-stable record holder for longest time aloft
  • The incredible Zero Fighter, the reigning Guinness World Records holder for the past 15 years!
  • And many more
Takuo Toda has dedicated his life to designing innovative paper aircraft. His signature snub-nosed "Sky King" was the Guinness World Record holder for many years. But on December 19, 2010, he broke his own record for flight duration with his new "Zero Fighter" design, which flew for 29.2 seconds. Both of these planes are included in this book. Toda has developed over 700 paper airplane designs and written over 30 books on the subject. He is the chairman of the Japan Origami Airplanes Association.
