A warm, comforting bedtime story that invites readers to peek under the roofs of a diverse group of kids, celebrating family and home.

A sprinkle of starlight and beams from the moon

whisper to families that bedtime is soon.

If you lifted up shingles or peeked in each home,

What might you find on your starry night roam?

Under one roof, a family gets ready for bedtime together, while under another, folks are thinking of someone who can’t be there. Some families sleep under unfamiliar roofs, on a faraway trip or taking shelter from a storm, while others are cozy at home or even camping out under the stars. This soothing, lyrical book wraps readers in a moonlit hug while showing how love transcends distance, and that we’re still all together under the same sky. For fans of An Invisible String or anyone looking for a calming, reassuring read, this gentle story is perfect for bedtimes everywhere.
