Wayne H. Bowen is an associate professor of history at Ouachita Baptist University and a major in the U.S. Army Reserve. He spent nine months in northern Iraq in 2004 as a Civil Affairs officer. This book is his third. He lives in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
