This book explores the role of cities in the trade liberalization process in the global economy and their efforts to enhance the competitiveness of cities. PETER KARL KRESL is Associate Professor of Economics at Bucknell University. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of Vermont, the Norwegian School of Economics, the University of Lund, and Carleton University, and has served as president of the Association for Canadian Studies in the United States.
