A stunning slipcased collector’s edition of the beloved children’s classic – the perfect gift to treasure and share.

In the nursery, only the toys that are old and wise truly understand what it means to be Real.

The Velveteen Rabbit, a newcomer, asks one of the most knowledgeable toys, the Skin Horse, what being Real means. And so begins the Velveteen Rabbit’s journey towards becoming real – through the love of a child …

Margery Williams’ classic children’s story is over 100 years old. It’s beloved of children and their parents the world over – a must-have on every child’s bookshelf

Margery Williams was born in London in 1881. She moved with her family to the USA in 1890 and there started a career as a writer at the age of nineteen. She wrote many stories for children, of which The Velveteen Rabbit is the most famous.

William Nicholson was born in 1872 and was one of England’s most prestigious still-life and portrait painters. He also wrote and illustrated Clever Bill.
