How did the Vikings travel as far afield as modern-day Canada and Baghdad? Why were their most fearsome warriors called berserkers? And what does doomsday have to do with nail hygiene? Readers can discover the truth behind some of the most incredible Viking stories and superstitions and unearth the most fascinating aspects of an ancient culture in this immersive book. With more than 80 lift-the-flaps and flaps under flaps, there's plenty of history to uncover.
