E.D. Blodgett’s final volume of poems, Walking Into God, is the culmination of the poet’s lifelong devotion to a poetry and poetics of the sacred. E.D. Blodgett (1935 – 2018), PhD, was a poet who published close to 30 books of poetry, for which he received two Governor General’s Awards as well as awards from the Writers’ Guild of Alberta and the Canadian Authors Association.
