This book examines the uniforms, equipment, history and organisation of the troops that fought in Cambodia in the 1970s.

Kenneth Conboy and Ken Bowra's detailed text discusses all the US and Cambodian forces, including Special Operations, and summarises the course of the war. Alongside the text, uniforms are shown in full illustrated detail, highlighting the varied range of military clothing used by each of the different forces.

Ken Conboy is the Deputy Director of the Asian Studies Centre, a Washington based think tank, which studies US strategic and economic policy towards South-East Asia, and he has travelled extensively in that region. Ken has written widely on the military forces of South-East Asia including two titles in the Men-at-Arms series on the wars in Laos and Cambodia, and Elite 33, South-East Asian Special Forces.

Mike Chappell retired in 1974, as RSM of the 1st Battalion The Wessex Regiment (Rifle Volunteers), after seeing service in several locations including Malaya. He began painting military subjects in 1968 and since then has gained worldwide popularity as a military illustrator.
