Robert Rees Davies was a professor of medieval history at Oxford University, writing a number of works on Welsh medieval society and law. Ralph A. Griffiths is an Emeritus Professor at Swansea University Ieuan Gwynedd Jones is a Welsh historian. Kenneth O. Morgan is currently a Research Professor at King's College, London.
