The images presented here are from the camera of Jeff Jones, a well-respected and prolific transport photographer with a vast collection of material, and are published here for the first time, in a collection curated over four years by transport author Stephen Heginbotham. Stephen Heginbotham retired after thirty-eight years working in public transport, and was fortunate enough to work in an industry that was both a career and a hobby. Having spent twenty-four years in Cornwall as a Signalman, Signalling Inspector and Mobile Operations Manager he speaks with some authority on the subject of railways and public transport, having compiled previous books on the subject.
