What to Draw and How to Draw it for Kids is a fun and useful book to develop the creative skills of budding illustrators everywhere.

Kids can learn how to draw a delightful range of subjects, from animals and nature to toys, buildings and landscapes.

Featuring easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions, kids can improve their artistic ability by using simple shapes and lines to create their own illustrations.

Growing up in sunny Staffordshire, Charlotte spent much of her childhood drawing and painting, collaging and doodling (ruining a few good carpets in the process!) — there was never any question she wanted a career in design. She studied Surface Pattern Design at Staffordshire University and has worked in the greetings card industry for 17 years.

While she still occasionally likes to get messy with paint and glue, Photoshop is her preferred weapon of choice these days. Charlotte loves textures and layering, but also strong linework and mark making. Charlotte is often inspired by nature, whether that’s an amazing combination of colour, or an interesting perspective or composition.
