Gillian Shields read English at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, before studying acting in London and later teaching at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. She has written many children’s books including Puppy Love (Simon & Schuster) and Sam’s Snowflake (Macmillan Children’s Books).
Anna Currey was born in Norfolk, grew up in Ireland and now lives in Bath. Anna has illustrated a number of books, including Rosie’s Hat (Macmillan Children’s Books), The Christmas Unicorn (OUP) and the Silverlake Fairy School series (Usborne).
