We go to The Grove on game day to tailgate in style and hope for the Rebels to win. But what about the squirrels of Oxford who live in The Grove? Where do they go when their home is overrun with people and tents?

It is a question many have asked but few can answer . . . until now!

Join the squirrels one fall Saturday as they escape the crowds and take a squirrelly jaunt about Oxford, Mississippi, to discover new places and old history.

Laurie G. Fisher was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta. She has a BFA in illustration from the Memphis College of Art and an MFA in painting from the University of Mississippi. She also taught art at Ole Miss. Laurie and her family now live in New Orleans, Louisiana, where the nonstop gaiety never fails to keep her entertained. She likes to visit the squirrels in Audubon Park but prefers the squirrels in The Grove.
