"When you wish upon a car, and if your wish is deep,
A starry kind of magic sometimes happens in your sleep . . ."
Close your eyes, make a wish, and join the cars, bikes, jeeps and trucks (and the little dreamers who've driven them to Dreamland) in this brilliant, rhyming adventure.
From award-winning author, Barry Timms, with warm and wonderful illustrations by Ben Whitehouse, this brand new picture book is perfect for fans of Goodnight Digger and a brilliant addition to bedtimes everywhere!
Barry Timms is a multiple award-winning storyteller who enjoys the way books bring people together. He grew up in the rugged Cornish landscape but now lives by a South London water tower and is a city boy at heart. Barry can often be found with pencil in hand, writing or drawing or both. Most exciting of all is putting words and images together, and the surprising results that can happen. Barry likes road movies, ghost trains and exploring forgotten side streets. He has twice been shortlisted for the UK Lollies Awards for This is NOT a Unicorn! and This is not a Dinosaur! In the USA he won the Bock Book Award for Children's Literature for Love Grows Everywhere.
