This must be my excuse for adding another to the long list of books dealing with the Education, Life and Work of Woman. Nearly all the more important works in this field were published before the war. Since those days everything has changed. The immense development of Psychology, in particular, has opened up new social perspectives; and looking down these we find that the whole problem of Woman in relation to Society takes on a new form.”
