Since the year 2000 women's soccer has become more popular throughout the world and in the UK it is now the most important participation sport for women and girls, with a national network of leagues and clubs that cater for players of all levels and experience.
Jane Haslem has a lifetime's experience in football both as a player and as a coach. She specializes in youth development, and after coaching at the Chesterfield FC Boys and Girls Centres of Excellence, she moved to the Football Association as the Head Coach of both the National Women's Player Development Centre and the England Women's Under 17 squad. Whilst with the FA she also worked with the Under 15's, 19's and 21's and performed scouting duties throughout Europe for the women's senior team. In addition, Jane worked as a coach educator and technical analyst for FIFA at the Under 20 Women's World Cup in Chile.
