An intriguing and offbeat play about family and religion.

When the remains of missing writer Harry Golden are discovered, five years after he went missing, his daughters must come to terms with the fact that they are now the grown-ups. Along with their partners, the undertaker and the ghost of the undertaker's wife, they are faced with the challenge of burying their father with dignity.

Ioanna Anderson's play Words of Advice for Young People was first staged by Rough Magic at Project Arts Centre, Dublin, in February 2004.

Ioanna Anderson, originally from Edinburgh, is now resident in Dublin. A graduate of Trinity College, she is a founder-member of Greenlight Productions, who produced her first two plays, Describe Joe (seen at the Dublin Fringe 2000) and Why I Hate the Circus (Civic Theatre, Tallaght, 2001). She is currently working on new plays for the Abbey Theatre, Calipo Theatre Company and the Traverse, Edinburgh.
