Part of Intellect’s World Film Locations series, World Film Locations: Helsinki explores the relationship between the city, cinema and Finnish cultural history. Pietari Kääpä is a research fellow in the School of Film and Television Studies at the University of Helsinki. He has published extensively on transnational Finnish cinema, including Directory of World Cinema: Finland. Silja Laine is a lecturer in landscape studies at the University of Turku, Finland.
