Discover the wonder of the world within and around us.
Through lyrical verse and rich, dreamlike imagery, The World in Me invites children to see themselves as part of nature’s great story—from shifting skies to deep emotions, from the rhythm of time to the dance of seasons.
As young readers journey through one continuous panoramic illustration, they’ll spot a fairy, a child, a crow, and a red thread on every page—gentle symbols of connection, curiosity, and care for all living things.
A poetic meditation on empathy and earth stewardship, The World in Me reminds us that everything in nature—including ourselves—is beautifully intertwined.

Daria lives in the high desert city of Reno, NV, which was once a prehistoric inland sea. She considers the earth to be very wise, as it has lived through so much change and evolution.
