When Dev's boredom lands him in some trouble, his parents banish him to Everest Base Camp for the summer to join his dad on a research trip. With freezing winds, endless maths worksheets and ice instead of ice cream, Dev expects to have a miserable time. But when he reunites with his friend Hiu the Yeti, he's invited to Yetiville, which is plagued by a horrible smell. How did the stench reach the world's highest mountain? And can Dev help the Yetis clear it away while defeating boredom once and for all? A brilliantly funny and colourful comic with a subtle environmental message by a Newari author and illustrator that includes footnotes and translations of Nepali words and local names.

Promina Shrestha is an illustrator, comics artist and researcher in the field of visual arts. She currently directs her creative energy towards personal projects while residing on a rural farm in Nepal.
